Help or DonateHow We Help
We are an umbrella charity bringing together all the organisations across Peterborough who work with those who sleep rough and/or are homeless.
Our Partner organisations are from the voluntary, faith, community, and statutory sectors across the city. We provide grant funding and other support to our Partner organisations such as packaging training to meet specific needs.
We meet quarterly with our Partners in person to encourage strong relationship building between as we recognise that is vitally important all our efforts are as effective as possible to help the disadvantaged in our city.
Our vision is to ensure Peterborough is a city where homelessness is, rare brief and unrepeated and by supporting our partners, the intent is to deliver exceptional services for all people who experience homelessness and are disadvantaged.
This will be achieved through Safer Off The Streets strengthening partner relationships and collaboration and by building skills, knowledge, and understanding, and breaking down stigma. We will engage partners in strategic improvement, promote adoption of best practice and awareness of help and support.

Partner Organisations
Our partners all in one way or another support those experiencing homelessness. They are made up of statutory bodies, housing associations, charities, voluntary organisations and clinical providers. Examples of some of our partners are:
- The Peterborough City Council Housing team provide outreach support for those sleeping rough around all areas of the city, along with housing officers who work to understand the needs of those at risk or experiencing homelessness, endeavouring to refer them into safe and secure accommodation.
- CGL Aspire and The CPFT Dual Diagnosis team provide outreach support as well as therapy and support to assist with their specific needs.
- The Light Project Peterborough along with Outside Links, provide welcoming support during the day for those experiencing homelessness. Both provide a safe space to link their guests with organisations and individuals who can assist them to a safe, healthier and happier place in their lives.
- Our charitable partners such as Peterborough Soup Kitchen, Peterborough Homeless Helpers and 3 Pillars all provide valuable outreach food and provisions.
- Our local Housing Associations such as Cross Keys Homes, Amplius & YMCA manage temporary accommodation, adding to those provided by the City Council’s own provisions across the city.
Many other valued partners also join us at our quarterly partnership meetings to collectively build understanding of homelessness, strengthen working relationships and ultimately, we hope, to provide enhanced, targeted and effective support where needed.
