CareZone – is a furniture bank that tackles furniture poverty by providing emergency furniture, and households goods for people who have been homeless and have no furniture.
CareZone takes public donations of furniture, household items and kitchen utensils and distributes them free of charge to families identified as needing this support by frontline professionals such as housing support workers, social workers, and probation officers. To ensure that resources are given to households in need, Care Zone operates a referral system and is not open to the public.
CareZone also offers volunteering opportunities for people who are looking to increase their employability by gaining new skills or want to make a difference in their community.
Care Zone relies on the generosity of the community for furniture and household goods donations. Donations can also be made to the Care Zone Warehouse Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 10am-1pm. Please check the Care Zone website for a up to date list of the items we need.
Please note the warehouse is for donations only, if you have a voucher please follow the instructions given to you by your support worker who referred you to Care Zone.
Please contact CareZone via their email address.
