What is Dual Diagnosis?
This is at term used to describe someone who uses substances and has mental health challenges, sometimes also known as co-occurring conditions.
The Dual Diagnosis Outreach Team is based in Peterborough and is designed to support and empower individuals experiencing mental health and substance misuse challenges.
The team consists of a clinical nurse lead, two part time mental health nurse practitioners. As at July 2025, the team are currently recruiting for a part time clinical nurse lead and a support worker.
We can provide a personalised assessment to create individual support plans based on your needs. This could range from support to accessing services which will best meet your requirements, to providing individualised interventions to support your mental health wellbeing.
DDOT only work through referral, currently accepting referrals from PCC Housing Needs and Temporary Housing staff, CGL Aspire, Outside Links, Light Project Peterborough and Probation.
