Boroughbury Medical Centre PCN

Boroughbury Medical Centre PCN provides dedicated primary care drop-in clinics for individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. These clinics are designed to reduce barriers to healthcare by offering flexible, accessible services within community settings across the Peterborough area. Clinics are delivered at a range of partner locations where individuals already access support, allowing healthcare professionals to reach patients who may find it difficult to attend traditional GP appointments.

The clinics are led by either a GP or a practice nurse, depending on the needs of the service on the day. Patients can attend without a prior appointment and are offered a range of primary care services. This includes assessment and treatment of acute illnesses, management of long-term health conditions, wound care, medication reviews, basic health checks, and referrals to other health or support services where appropriate.
