Did you know that 43% of women experiencing homelessness are not in touch with a homelessness service? Sleeping in unsafe places, women are under-represented in official homelessness statistics and therefore not accessing the support they need to move forward.
By gathering a more accurate picture of women's homelessness in the UK, The Women's Rough Sleeping Census aims to improve support and provision for women through gender-informed practice.
Safer Off The Streets has formally registered for Peterborough City to take part in the census, asking as many of our valued partners as possible to contribute. If your organisation comes into contact with women experiencing homelessness, in whatever capacity, we'd love to hear from you.
